 Vinification :
Entirely carried out by Mr. Lionel Touchais, the winemaking process applies the traditional method with temperature control for maximum extraction of the aromas and tannins. The wine is aged in oak barrels, a proportion of which is replaced by new barrels each year, depending on the specific characteristics of the vintage in question.
Characteristics of the Wines
The wines of Château Balac are very fine and fruity with quite supple tannins and a delicate aroma.
Sales
Château Balac is exported in Europe (Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany), l'Irlande - since 2006 export to Australia and very soon to China.
and is sold to the general public. Featured in the HACHETTE GUIDE to the Wines of France.
